Syntellix AG celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. The company, which was founded in 2008 with nothing more than an idea and vision, has taken an unprecedented development and is today the technology and world market leader in transformable magnesium implants (screws and pins).

In order to properly celebrate the successes achieved, the company celebrated its 10th anniversary on January 11, 2018 with customers, research and business partners and companions in Herrenhausen. Mayor of Hanover Stefan Schostok and President of the Leibniz University Prof. Volker Epping were also invited as well-wishers and appreciated the achievements so far in their speeches.

Beside the review of 10 exciting and eventful years, the event was also marked by a successful future. Thus, further milestones for the company's development were announced that evening: the company's founder and previous Supervisory Board Chairman Utz Claassen will now personally manage the company as the new CEO, and new well-known investors have been won:

• Ex-German Bank chief Juergen Fitschen becomes another important key investor with unique expertise and experience in the financial and banking world who will contribute significantly to raising the company also in the global context to a whole new level.
• Rolf Elgeti, repeatedly voted the best equity strategists in Europe and one of the most brilliant financial analysts, has invested via his renowned investment company Hevella Capital in Syntellix shares.

With the successful expansion of the shareholder base and the restructuring of the management, Syntellix AG is in the best position to tackle the next development step: the company's international IPO.
