Syntellix guest at the Royal Society

What are the key innovations that shape and change in the healthcare sector? Numerous experts addressed this question on 8 February 2019 at an event organised by the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) at the Royal Society in London.

The Royal Society, the world's oldest and most renowned scientific society (among others Sir Issac Newton was its president), provided the appropriate forum for a series of top-class lectures and discussions with top experts from the health and finance sectors.

Both in Great Britain and in Europe, the healthcare sector is facing a radical upheaval. This is due to numerous factors, including an ageing population, the increasing influence of technology and the increasing internationalisation of health services and competition, which on the one hand represent great development potential for the future, but on the other hand also require high investments. The conference participants intensively discussed the opportunities and challenges in the fields of medical technology, services, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Syntellix CEO Prof. Claassen also presented the company and the MAGNEZIX® technology to a large audience, which subsequently stimulated a vivid exchange on the significance of fundamental innovations in the healthcare sector.
